Hi! My name is Henry and I am in the 9th grade. I live in Watts with 11 people in my house. Who am I? I am a good athlete that likes any sport: soccer, basketball, baseball, football—you name it and I will play it! I also like to work hard in school, especially in math. I was born in Los Angeles, California. I have 3 pit bulls, 4 birds, and 4 little doggies. I live in a really poor neighborhood but we are nice to each other. I don’t really have any grandpa but I do have a lot of grandmas. I like to visit my friends and family in Mexico. When I was little I couldn’t get a lot of toys and stuff but I didn’t care about it. One thing that did affect me is that I was jealous of people who had stuff. I was also very little and short so people made fun of me but I had a very cool friend that was as short as me so I wasn’t lonely at all.
I have a lot of goals in life and it would be nice if I could accomplish all of them. One goal is that I want to become the athlete of the year. I want to live in Beverly Hills or in any peaceful place. I would like to have fun in my life and in the world. In the future, I want to help the poor and the hungry. Another goal in life that I want to accomplish is work at NASA and see a UFO or go to the moon. I want to try a lot of things in my life and get a lot of experience. I would like to try to have a lot of jobs like: actor, real estate agent, scientist, comedian, athlete, and more. I want to be a real estate agent because they make a lot of money and can afford a fancy house. I like to talk a lot and I want to try to become a comedian or just be funny to make people happy.
I think that STRIVE is a really fantastic program that helps you out with your problems and struggles. Strive classes are shorter than time we spend at school but Strive helps you more with your homework and other stuff. I don’t want to become a failure; I want to be a successful person!!!
Goals in life…
-own a limo company by the age of 19…
-be a model by the ages of 19-22…
-own a house by the age of 24…
-become a millionaire by the age of 30…
-get married at the age of 32…-try to invent something…-have twins with my wife…
