Hi, 
my name is Valerie. and I am 8 years old. I’m in the 3rd grade. I live in Los Angeles, California. I like my city because there are a lot of places to visit. I’m smart because I get good grades on my tests at school. When I grow up I want to be a teacher because I want to help kids learn.
My favorite subject is science because you learn different facts about plants and animals. I have 15 friends that I like to hang out with. Together we play many different games. My favorite sport is tetherball because you learn some quick skills. My favorite artist is Justin Bieber because I like how he moves. My favorite hobby is coloring pictures or playing outside because it’s fun. I like going to the mall to see the different stores. Seven people live in my house. Their names are Cesar, Eric, Gabby, Chris, Maria, Beto, and I.
I like coming to STRIVE. The teachers at STRIVE help me with my homework. When we’re done with homework we do different activities that help us with math and other areas.
